minifloat

名词 n.

英文释义

名词 n.
  1. A small float (an elaborately decorated vehicle in a parade or pageant).
    — People of color were not the only ones missing. Despite the paradelike atmosphere, there was not a child in sight. The naked people scare parents away, as do the occasionally obscene banners and minifloats.
  2. A floating-point number represented with very few bits (such as 8 or 16, when a more common size would be 32 or 64 bits).
