My father bought a computer as a birthday present for me last year. It becomes my best friend in my room. I'd like to play on the computer as soon as I get home. At weekends, I often play games on line with my friends. I've made a lot of friends on the Intenet. But my eyesight becomes poorer and poorer, and I am not able to finish my homework on time. It's terrible that my father will remove the computer. From now on, I should pay more attention to my study.

Last year, my father gave me a computer as my birthday gift. I like it very much, because it is useful to me. It is a good helper in both our everyday study and life. It can help us learn more useful knowledge and get more information. When we are tired, we can use the computer to relax ourselves. For example, we can enjoy beautiful music and watch wonderful movies by using the computer. It is very convenient to our life, especially with the help of the Internet, we can go shopping online freely at home. When we have a hard nut to crack, it will help us solve it. However, the computer does harm to us as well. If we are addicted to computer games, it will be bad for both our study and health, especially it will do great damage to our eyesights. In our class, about 50% classmates often play computer games for a long time every day, so their eyesights become worse and worse. What’s more, violence in the Internet will have a bad effect on us. We must keep away from it. In a word, there are two sides to everything. And the computer is no exception. We should make good use of the computer. So that it will be more useful and helpful for us.
