中国的地理位置

China is located in the east of Asia. It covers a huge area of 9.6 million square kilometers. The country is bordered on the north, west, and south by more than a dozen Asian countries. To the east is the Pacific Ocean. China has many large cities. Among the most famous are Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjing and Guangzhou. There are also many high mountains in China. Mount Everest in the Himalayas is the highest mountain not only in China but also in the world. The longest rivers in China are the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. They both run from the west to the east of the country.
