A Race between the Tortoise and the Hare
One day a hare was playing in the fields. The hare thought he was the fastest runner in the world. When he saw the tortoise was so slow he laughed at him and said, “Let's have a race and see who can get to the tree first.” The tortoise agreed and the race began.
We all know the hare ran much faster than the tortoise. Soon the tortoise was far behind the hare.
“That silly tortoise can never win.” the hare thought to himself. The sun was shining. It was so hot. The hare decided to have a rest. Before long he was fast asleep.
The tortoise didn't take a minute's rest. He walked on and on. He never stopped. At last he reached the tree.
When the hare woke up and ran to the tree, the tortoise was already there, waiting for the hare.

Once upon a time, there was a race between a tortoise and a hare. The hare, known for its speed, was confident of winning, while the tortoise, slow and steady, was determined to give it his best shot. The forest animals gathered to witness this unusual competition.
On the day of the race, the hare sprinted off, leaving the tortoise far behind. Overconfident, the hare decided to take a nap, thinking he had plenty of time to win. Meanwhile, the tortoise kept moving forward, step by step, without stopping.
When the hare woke up, he was surprised to see the tortoise nearing the finish line. He raced as fast as he could, but it was too late. The tortoise had already crossed the finish line, winning the race.
The moral of the story is that slow and steady wins the race. It teaches us the value of perseverance and hard work, and that overconfidence can lead to unexpected outcomes.
