Attention please!

I am very glad to tell you that an English lecture will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 8. It will be held in the reading-room of the library. It will be given by Professor Wang from Shanghai University. Professor Wang will tell us how to make full use of the our textbook Oxford English . I think it must be very interesting. After the lecture, we'll have a discussion on the subject in groups. I'm sure we'll learn a lot from it. Please be there on time.

Dear Students,

To enhance everyone's English proficiency, our school has decided to organize an English speech contest. The contest will be held in the school auditorium on the afternoon of next Friday (May 29th) at 2 PM. The theme of the contest is "My Dream," and each participant is required to prepare a 3-minute speech.

Students who are interested in participating should register with the English teacher before this Friday (May 24th). Please bring a draft of your speech when registering so that the teacher can understand your content.

On the day of the contest, participants should arrive at the auditorium 30 minutes early for preparation. The contest will be judged by a panel of five English teachers, and the top three winners will be awarded.

We look forward to the active participation of every student. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your English skills and practice your public speaking abilities. Let's work together to make this English speech contest an unforgettable experience!
